If I recall they are attempting to target the people who do a lot of photo printing. What I heard indicated that the digital camera sells were slumping because (average consumer) people have two choices a) take the memory card to a camera store, $$$ or b) DIY at home prints from PC printer (most people will not invest the time or money for GOOD software so they get crummy results) If we are talking about the same printer AND I remember correctly this is supposed to be a direct from camera to printer arrangement, no PC required.
