Thanks, I finally found the sensor, hidden as you suggested. Now I am ready to start working on the carrier. I went again to the web site, http://techref.massmind.org/techref/pcb/etch/c84-st.htm to try to understand how the carrier is built. I could use a little more detail on how the carrier is built.
