That's good news, thanks for updating the group about the 
Proxxon. I have just completed version 2 of my PCB drilling 
press. This one is takes up less than half the bench area and is 
lighter, better built ,et. I will create a web page as I had done 
earlier for my old drill machine. The bearings used in the new 
machine are tapered roller bearings, which, for this application, 
are far superior than clutch thrust bearings or rod end bearings. 
The tapered roller bearings are available cheap (AUD$13/each) if 
you get standard automotive wheel bearing sizes.
