Congratulations! Now that you are hooked, you can try some variations in the preparation process. Some light sanding with a 3M abrasive pad to lend some tooth, followed by a Simple Green (buty cellusolve, mostly) scrub, then an acetone wipe. Lint-free paper wipes (Kimwipes or similar) are very good as they won't leave cruft behind. Keep notes. Do what works and know what doesn't.
