Using silk screen emulsion, it is worth a try, The only thing I would be concerned with is the emulsion's adhesion to the copper. Silk screens are made from very fine polyester fibers that have a lot of surface area to "grab" onto and it is formulated for this. Copper is a horse of another coleor.
