There are several mentions of people buying it specifically for toner transfer. There are multiple howtos and descriptions of using Pulsar paper and Press-n-Peel with the HL-5250 and no adverse trouble was mentioned. This leads me to suspect that the problem might not be the toner formulation, but somehow with the printer mechanism -- all the printers except one in the group database listed as not working with toner transfer have a similar base mechanism. The lone exception is an all-in-one whos mechanism I don't know. The ones that DO work have mechanisms similar to the HL-5250. There still may be a difference in toner formulations across different mechanisms. The Press-n-Peel I ordered a few days ago should arrive today or tomorrow. I'm quite eager to test things out and report back here. I don't see how duplexing could possibly be used to make double-sided boards unless you have an absolutely flat paper path and printing directly to the board. My desire for duplexing comes from the fact I got a duplexing printer so inexpensively and now I'm addicted to that feature. I'll look into Samsungs. -- David Griffith dgriffi@...
