Go to Walmart and purchase the cheapest crockpot you
can find. I think I paid aound $ 12.00 for mine. While
your there, pick up a kitchen thermometer for about 
$3.00. They are good for measuring temp above the
boiling point of water. Just make sure the thermometer
you pick up is made of glass and has no metal parts.
