Good tip! The straight solvent cement requires very close fitting joints, the thick stuff does not. You can make your own joint filling stuff by mixing some plexi chips with the thin solvent cement. After it dries, the whole thing is just plexiglass as if it had been cast that way so it will not fail in FeCl.
