I was told that curing the epoxy in an oven at 80 degree or so
improves the strength, even if it is hardening only by mixing the 2 
components too.
The "epoxy" i have (e.g 5 minute 1:1) gets warm when it cures, but not hot. 
I had never problems with the strength, and never tried baking it...
