I use one of those $39 drill presses from Harbor Freight. It spins a 
little slower than I'd like (only ~3k) but I don't break bits anymore.

I use resharps all the time, never seen a specific problem with them.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
