And it's going to be impossible to prevent at least some of the oil from transfering to the drum. At that point, water won't remove the paper any more. What is needed is a water based coating that can be dried completely before printing, but dissolves quickly and easily in water. Inkjet coatings are one. Starch seems to be another with some merit. What about a heated vacuum table to hold the paper flat and dry it at the same time? Lay it down and spray or brush coat it, then turn on the heat. Steve
