I reckon it would not be a problem at all to have two titanium rods in my tank, i could get them at ebay.. what have you payed for the screws? i really doubt i can find titanium screws in any hardware store here. One would need to know a surgeon, i have heard you can get titanium screws easily because very often they prepare screws for a operation which they then don't use and they can't be reused once opened.
