Hi Mike, The time between toner transfer and etching only depends on how and where you store the board. Dont forgot that copper oxidates easely and this oxide is a 'not' to the etching process. If you really need to store the board try some sort of sealed box (like tupperware or alike) or the thin plastic film used in kitchens to preserve food.
