I was thinking that if you use one of those pencil die grinders, you could use the air exhaust to vacuum the dust up. I have my little sandblasting cabinet set up with a small valve on the exhaust hose so that it acts as a vortex vacuum to blow the fine dust outside. Not very elegant, but it works.
