Motor small gear shaft large gear means slower, yes. You are not thinking wrong. imagine the motor gear tiny and the shaft gear huge, it is obvious to imagine the small gear spinning like mad while the large gear is very slow. Mod might not apply, dunno, don't have laminator. ST
