Hi all i am new here and ive got an Stylus D78 (C78 for US and other
countries). It seems to be the same as C88 but i am having trouble to
insert the pcb, it says that the paper is not loaded propertly. I
moved the infra sensor but nothing helped. Can anybody help me please?

The paper sensors are the only things that report to the computer if
the paper isnt loaded properly.

Thats true, but how to fake it in the right time, nobody tried to
make some timing circuitry?

I simply cut a notch from the carrier sheet. The edge is put into the feed
rollers, and then the printer feeds it takes the righ time until the notch
is past the sensor and paper is detected. I expect one could also move the
sensor further forward but the notch seemed more practical at the time.
