OT An easy way to archive entire Yahoogroups

OT An easy way to archive entire Yahoogroups

Saw this mentioned on one of the lists I am on. It is a program
that will download an entire Yahoogroup, including files and photos
and attachments so that you can archive, then search and read
offline.

I haven't tried it yet. Looks like you can configure it pretty
well, like selecting whether or not to download attachments,
setting a filter for attachments (like only downloading JPGs or
ZIPs), setting file size limits on attachments, choosing how far
back in the messages to download, etc.

Looks very cool. I think I'm going to archive some of the lists I
admin and back them up on CD. I'm paranoid about losing all that
good info and ideas on the Homebrew_PCBs list, for example.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
