Homebrew PCBs

Hello Friends,

I need to bye blank PCBs here in Israel.

I need something like 10 Sq.mtrs .8mm 1/2 OZ SS and DS.

Any help appreciated.

Well, previously I had asked who was using Altium and the topic went on 
for some time with some interesting feedback (one guy even got kicked 
off).

I have decided to go with EasyPC sometime in the future when I win 
lotto, but for now I am trying WinQcad.

Somebody kept saying "what about xxxxxxx", (being some other software), 
but it was a different operating system.

So here is the question again  - does anybody here use WinQcad or Qcad?

It is a nasty cheap pile of yuk but it actually works relatively well 
and is simple compared with some other software titles.

Did you ever start using WinQcad?

I use it because if I design only a couple of boards each year, it's hard to come back up a steep learning curve. WinQcad for me makes that relearning very quick. I've given direct input to the author and once he understands your english, then he makes the change usually. I forget where he is from, but english is a 2nd language.

Any way, I have Orcad here. It takes too long to figure it out on only a couple of boards each year. But it's a real cad package, like so many others, and take a while to learn.

Just for grins I am trying Altium to see if I can learn it at all. It's a huge download, but might be worth the effort. After trying Orcad and Pads from the last job, I was not motivated to use it.

I judge all software by how easy it is to 'relearn' it after being away from it for months. I am aware that some professional users will use completely different criteria for judging a cad packages worth to them.

I know this original post is old, but I though it was worth chiming in as we are mostly hobbiest level designers.
