Edwinxp ECAD suite

Edwinxp ECAD suite

2009-04-29 by Ronny Eia

Have anyone tried this rather new software? I see the prices is comparable to Cadsoft Eagle (cheaper actually) and think this might be a alternative.

I've just installed it, and I don't feel comfortable just yet. New software takes a few days to sink in, for me anyway.

If anyone here has tried this software and feel experienced enough to say a few words I'd appreciate it. If it sucks, I can save me some time by just going back to Cadsoft.... :P

Oh, please don't kill me if this is the wrong forum. I think software is closely related to making PCBs, but you may feel different.

It would help if we all knew the name of the new software you are referring to.

Oops,
Saw the name but a link to the software would help as well as the cost of the software

I checked it out. The student download PRO version at $120 is a great deal in my opinion.

Non-commercial Professional licence = $120
Small Biz Professional licence = $1200

The price sounds sweet IMHO. It has crashed a few times (running Vista 64-bits - many programs crash due to this so it may not be fair to blame the software) and I cannot figure out how to print.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
