Harbor freight laminator

2009-09-14 by flightofharmony

I just saw this, A 9" laminator that can handle up to 6mm thick material.

http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?function=Search

It only goes up to 125°F (52°C) but it may be hackable. It's only $28.00 but with Harbor Freight, of course, you usually get what you pay for.

0.6mm does not make sense if you plan to use it with a regular PCB. .6mm is 24 mils and a standard PCB is 1.6mm or 63 mils.

I just bought a Scotch TL901 laminator at a thrift store for just $2.99.
It works but is missing the feed tray, which is no big deal. I bought it
hoping that it would be usable for doing toner tansfer. Has anyone used one
of these? I could use a scanned copy of the manual, if anyone has it
available.

Chris
