35% H2O2 and HCL - Ratio?

35% H2O2 and HCL - Ratio?

No idea why this message got sent out with empty From, Subject and To
fields, but it looks like a legitimate message, so I'm forwarding it
with the original intended Subject line. - Jan

Hi. I'm new to this. I recently got some H202 and HCL from a chemical
company. The H2O2 is 35%. I'm not sure what percentage the HCL is,
however it's labeled "Hydrochloric Acid, 8, PG II." I don't know what
ratio to use. Should I dilute the H202 with water? I'm worried about
the combination turning into boiling water. Also, are lined latex
gloves, the kind you use for kitchen cleaning, sufficient gloves? Does
it matter which you pour in first? I plan on doing this outside. I
have a plastic container for both the etching and the remaining
enchant.

Thanks.
-Mike

Thanks Jan. It's legit and I don't know how that happened. When I hit "post" all that info is already filled in for me. When I said "new to this" I meant yahoogroups too... I'll be more careful next time.

That's strange, I'm on Digest and I can see a subject line on his original message. It had a subject line when I approved it.

I'm looking at it on the group page and it has a subject line.
