Homebrew PCBs

Hello everyone. My first post here. I have been wanting to make my own small project pcb's. I am new to Yahoo groups and I have not figured out how to navigate these groups. I am sure this has been asked many times but I really can not find specific printers that are recommended. I have read that the older HP laserjets are the best but which ones. Thanks.

Beware of one thing, the HP universal drivers, at last count, were
good for an amazing 600 DPI.  Then native driver (came with the
printer when new) driver that may work on XP only, is good for 1200
DPI.  No idea why HP was so stupid with this.

I have a 2015D, nice printer, but you may want to calibrate the paper
feed a bit, it may be off.

ended giving it to my son and bought a HP2015dn as a replacement, no

I have that printer but am unsure what you need. I have a freeware program to get it to print 1200 times 1200 dpi called LJConfigure. I can help if you need that program. It works good for myself. Kevin
