Hand Graving Tools for PCB's

Fine instruments and firearms have traditionally been hand engraved using a diagonally cut square piece of tool steel.

Do we have any experience with this technique for circuit boards?


I imagine a rounded tool bottom might produce a better groove between the copper surface and softer board.

Often when I need to make something, I just take some pcb that I have, then
add parts to get what I need.

Do you do this manhattan style?  Or do you include some prototyping
pads on your boards?

Not with this technique specifically, but with the increase in popularity of small CNC routers, more and more people are achieving a similar result through automated means.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
