Hello Mark,

I have been lurking on this site for a while. My main use has been photo
etching thin brass or nickel silver sheet for model railway building. Often
arranging to etch from both sides of the sheets with a half etch to achieve
surface detail as well as outline for the part.

I also have done the occasional PCB etch as needed.

Is it possible to do the DLP onto thin brass or nickel silver sheet in the
range from about 0.005" to 0.020".

Another idea would be to temp bond a thin brass or nickel silver sheet onto
a backing sheet, than etch and separate the parts after etching.

This would help make detailing parts more quickly and easier.

Cheers

Tim

Hi Tim,

I haven't tried printing on brass, but it should work. I'll see if I can find a brass sheet and give it a try.
