RE: [Homebrew_PCBs] slikscreen - on a plotter
2004-04-19 by Brian Schmalz
I've always wanted to do silkscreen plotting with my HP plotter. However, I don't know where to get an ink that will withstand the heat of soldering. Anybody have any ideas? Could an HP plotter be used to plot on a soldermask as well? What type of ink could harden to withstand the temperatures but also flow through a normal HP plotter pen? *Brian ---------------- perhaps with silkscreen printing ? ;-) 3 other ideas that spring to mind: Plotter (multicolor, slow) toner transfer (black, maybe slightly conductive) various "transfer sheets" like t-shirt transfer ST
