Oh, it does show up after all, must have been some delay.
Wow that looks great. The Waldorf MicroQ and the Oberheim Matrix
1000, are they effects units?

Wooow, Kevin, you've got an entire studio there! I'm impressed!

What software do you use most?
I like cool edit pro for wav editing.
What's the best for midi?
Does anyone control the K5000W from a computer?

thanks. it's fun ;)

> What software do you use most?

depends on the day... lately, I sometimes avoid using
software at all, except for using Sound Diver to edit
the synths, the Nord Modular editor, and Wavelab to
record and master the live 2-track output of the
mixer... other times I use Reason or Acid to chop
loops from either sample CDs or my synths... sometimes
I do a full sequence in Cubase, record the audio and
then mix it down in Nuendo...

> I like cool edit pro for wav editing.

I'm partial to Wavelab myself...

> What's the best for midi?

that's a subjective question. I'm used to Cubase to
that is what I work with... but Logic and Digital
Performer and Sonar all have their own unique MIDI
features that could make them worthwhile as well...
but I try to do more from the machines themselves and
less with MIDI these days...

> Does anyone control the K5000W from a computer?

I'm sure they do... it is my "master" keyboard and
also serves as a sound module sometimes...

cheers,
kevin
