Does anyone have an economical way to interface 1/4 output of the sx
210/240 to usb computer connection to save patches via wave file?

use a soundcard to record and play wave files.

i'm guessing the easiest way is a simple USB audio interface. i know
there is one available that's bus-powered, but i can't remember the
manufacturer.  a great supplier of all things audio is ProSound
www.pssl.com . then you can use any realtime audio recorder (my fave
is Audacity, audacticy.sf.net).

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
