My mac has been in the shop waiting a graphics board, but i got it out to do some recording for a friend. It seemed like every other keycommand would not work. Several times I opened the keycommand window to verifiy if they had been changed or corrupted. (I had pulled this entire music disk out of the computer before taking the computer in, so it was not touched at all by Apple). Does anyone else experience that? Its annoying as hell. It seemed in some cases only after 20 attempts did something work.

Also the sample editor window would not loop properly no matter what I did. There were either 1/8 second glitches at the loop point, or it would ignore the loop area despite the "two round arrows" button being pushed.

Then I tried the m-audio audiophile board...I had digital distortion problems with it in the g4... and now new driver and same thing with the g5.

It was just a hellaceous experience.... the joy of music making.
