Its really hard to know what is going on there. I get occasional nasty noise - when using
Digi's drivers before, and even occasionally when using M-Audio's drivers. However,
consdering that you are getting strange errors, I think you need to create a new file from
scratch then import, drag and drop, or copy and paste from your existing song to a new
song, then save that. You might try running the sudo maintence things and the diskutility
repair permissions. those seem to fix some things. You might also see if your electrical
supply is filtered in case a guy down the street is running power tools.

There is a trick you can use. Instead of hitting PLAY, instead hit the space bar for pause
then hit again to Un-pause. For some reason, you can get around some of the disk
overload using this trick. Many times when there is an overload it occurs during the start
up of the track. I think Pause, loads the sounds in a buffer in advance, and then plays from
there.Message
