'm a new Logic user. Can anyone tell me how to burn a song to a CD?
I've been having problems.

Bounce to AIFF file. Then throw them into toast, or burn them from the Mac finder.

Also, how can I maximize my signal to noise ratio? I ask this
question because I always have a hot signal going into Logic when
recording, but during playback the level meter is extremely low.

You can see how hot the actual input to logic is by looking at the menu during recording, or at the peaks in the audio file after. Then use the compressor and/or limiter to pump it up. If your signal is too low then it will be a bit harder and lower quality.
