That doesn't sound too convincing.. ;o) A crossfade should help, so are you 
sure you did create one? Set the type to "eqp" and make sure the regions 
overlap (or there will be nothing to crossfade). Also there is a tiny bug: If 
you play the section in cyclemode while setting the crossfade, the changes 
won't have any effect until you manually play the section from the start 
again.
