2006-04-15 by BRAD CHAPMAN

sorry to bother..new to the discussion board and I left a message about getting help on the best places to start using logic. I left a post but got no response but continue to get emails of people helping each other. Did I post it wrong? Please help, new to the DAW world and really need some advice. thanks brad advanced2@...

Hmmm let me see if I understand this correctly.
you are sending a bass track to a buss using aux sends.
its better to send the whole track to the buss. Meaning, change the
output of your bass track to buss 1 or buss 2 wherever your
compressor is, instead of sending it as an aux.
Sending the bass as an aux can mess with your mix because it will
double your signal one will be the compressed bass and the other will
be the uncompressed bass.
Hope this clarifies somewhat, that is if I got the question right.
Good Luck
