Re: Samples Sound Ahead of Note Position in Track

2006-05-02 by Michael Sirotta

No, it's deep into the track. I do think it's some kind of corruption, cause going
completely "fresh" with all elements in a region usually restores the music, but two regions
(in 2 different song files) had been 'corrupted' in this manner within a week and a half. I
have no idea what can be causing this. Also, in the latest instance, some sustained notes
which were to end in a region segment of a track (with a clearly visible 'end of notes'
graphic in the hyper edit window) did not receive 'note off' messages and continued to
sound after the song pointer entered the subsequent region (in the same track - the
subsequent region being the one with the premature 'note-on'). This is all very weird. If
I'm not mistaken, this stuff happens in proximity to tempo change points. That's about all
I can observe.

Thanks,
Michael S.
