I get the same problem too. I have a pretty "clean system' but I thought it was some sort of background system thing kicking in and causing the hick-up. I turned off energy saver, removed wigets, aware of any background apps running, etc..still get the same problem. I get it with loops as well. If its a loop, I have to ad a few extra bars, and then 'edit back' later. If its a region I have to start a bar or so early. A bit of a pain, but shouldn't have to be in a top program like Logic Pro. I switched over from Cubase and LOVE logic !! This is a great forum w/tons of help !
