Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

I have had this happen to me a number of different sessions - in the matrix 
window, I'll delete a note, then ALL the notes disappear. But they are not 
really gone. They just appear to disappear.

Also, many key commands don't work. I have checked that they are uniquely 
defined in the keycommand window, but then they don't do anything when I hit 
them. Sometimes its consistent and sometimes intermittent.
