The first one has a wide variety of music software e.g. Native Instruments, 
Gmedia, Arturia, plus hardware like M-audio stuff. Everything is academically 
priced which can vary from no discount to huge discounts. The second one, has a 
wider variety of stuff, but the educational part is a smaller subset. 

Also www.audiomidi.com has some academic things if you look hard.
