Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

Hey Guys,

    I THINK I'm getting close to having this figured out.   I got it to where Logic recognizes 
transmissions from each respective Roland Fader (1-8 at this point).  The MIDI window on 
the bottom left seems to read three digits, first the midi channel (right?), then the 
paramater is always 7, which I assume is volume, then the value (0-127).   

   Is that second MIDI number (7) indicating volume/velocity?? 

   But it isn't quite working!!!   I can only move a Logic fader if it is selected, and then it 
responds to ANY Roland fader.

    Anybody else mess with this before??

     I feel like I'm so close!!  

     I'm trying to document my settings to share with the group if/when successful.
