Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

Hey, has anyone mastered the key-switching on the Rare Instruments  
package so many of us bought last week?  I had never heard of key- 
switching before but assumed that if you hit a certain key, all  
subsequent notes are with a different articulation.  I think that has  
been working for me, but once switched, I can't get back the original  
articulations.  I assumed that hitting the other note listed in the  
file name would switch back, but no luck.  So now I don't know if  
doing the initial switch intentionally or randomly.

Would anyone mind a little primer here?
