Pardon the question but if publishing, which is one of the rare income streams for the 
songwriter, is such a bad game what exactly keeps a person in for long enough to become 
a director?  Reads a little like the conservative politician gone green in retirement.  And 
believe me I don't want to think badly of publishing companies today, they make record 
company people look like exactly what they usually are, shyster commerce graduates.
