Hey Pete,

I haven't actually done it, but the HP computers have a special 
CD/DVD drive that handles the light scribing. I also think that you 
have to have the software that supports the light scribe. Here's the

I haven't heard anything about Macs having that capability. It would 
be cool if they do. Keep me posted.
