I've used a lightscribe drive on a PC and looks great. You can do lightscribe on Mac, but I'm not sure where you'd get the drive to do it. My favorite disc labeling software "DiscLabel" supports Lightscribe, so the drive(s) must be out there. I've been using DiscLabel for years and its an excellent application. Highly recommended. http://www.smileonmymac.com/DiscLabel/ Kurt --- In Logic_Cafe@yahoogroups.com, Duane Miller <Duane@...> wrote: > > > On Jan 21, 2008, at 3:28 PM, pete_buchwald wrote: > > > What software (or hardware) might be needed other than the > > requisite Light Scribe discs? > > > You would need a light Scribe ready burner which are found in such > externals as those made by Lacie etc. Afraid it can't be used in the > super drive (Mac internals) unless the latest ones have added the > feature.
