It's not worth the risk. If you take it out of the US and there are any kind of problems, you 
might not get local support. They are designed to sit on a desk, not bounce around in a 
suitcase - it's really not a good idea.

Power shouldn't be an issue though - I think they all have switch-mode supplies now and 
are supply voltage independent.

Software - that's a different matter, although the price is pretty low so it might not be 
worth the effort carrying it.

Don't get the academic version of the software - it will have implications for future 
upgrades.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
