Re: mac pro recommendations and configurations...?

2008-04-29 by pete_buchwald

I went with the standard macbook. I only regret the small 55 gig hard drive ... I felt like I
had to beg borrow and steal to find enough space for Logic 8, and had to install the
additional content on an external drive.

So my only advice, from experience, is to recommend a large hard drive.

I'm making due with 1 gig of ram just fine for now, but will get upgraded to 2 gig at some
point here.

When my medium projects cross the line into a larger one, freezing tracks sometimes
comes into play. Other than that my 2 GHz Intel Core Duo does just fine.

Best o' luck,

    Pete
