Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

Hi All, i posted this on the LOT group but didn't get any responses. 

does anyone here use Recycle? I have to use it a lot, but have gotten frustrated with it. It's not 
transparent at all and changes the sound considerably. It creates artifacts where each slice is. 


Just wondering what other user's experience with this may be and if there is
something out there that is better, or maybe there's something i'm doing wrong with Recycle.


and similarly, when i buy a commercially sold sample library of Rex files, i
can't help wondering how these REX files were made. 

any help or discussion on this topic would be hugely appreciated!,
