You don't say what version of Logic you are using?

Since Logic is made by Apple, doing a Software Update is all that is 
required
to get the latest version.  That of course is only if you have version 
8, if
you have version 7, then you need to buy an upgrade, which can be done 
at Apple.

there are options to upgrade.
