Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

I reindexed all my loops, and now all my descriptor buttons are  
greyed out.  If I click on the ALL button,  all my loops show up, and  
if I type in "Guitar" in my search box, all my guitars show up.  But  
the "Guitars" button remains greyed out.   I know my loops have  
descriptors attached, as they worked fine before the re-indexing, and  
many I made myself, and am certain they have the right metadata.  Any  
thoughts as to why I have lost this functionality?
