Apple Logic Pro /LogicExpress Discussion

I haven't tried this yet, but I will be soon. I want to run logic and Live on an old PC so that I can still have my free plugs that I'm used to.

Is anyone using a PC to play sample libraries from within Logic - as a 
node or whatever? I am trying to find out if this is a feasible option 
for me.
