I hate PCs and have been using Macs for 19 years but last month I was shopping for a computer for my mother and was having a very hard time deciding whether to get her a Mac or a PC. Why? Because Macs are simply nowhere near as trouble free as they are advertised as being and I live in a different country than she does so I can't pop over and straighten things out for her every time she runs into a problem. I do not know if it is actually true but a lot of people insist that PCs can be set up to be trouble free, so which one do I get my mother who mainly cares about not having to care too much about the problems. I do own a PC as well as a Mac and I do think it is pretty trouble free once it is set up, the thing is setting it up.
