Flextime works pretty well but on Vocals I agree  can be an issue if the moves are drastic..    But nudging a little here and there is fine.
If you really wanna move them around get Melodyne Editor with DNA it works amazingly well..

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
