Dear Friends, As many of you have already figured out or been informed, the email signed by me, that I was stranded in Scotland and needed money, was not really from me. It was a scam. I am not and never have been in Scotland. However, the reaction of those of you who thought that we might perhaps be in trouble was heartwarming: Some prepared to send the money, but after a brief investigation realized the request wasn't legitimate. Others phoned saying: "Hey! You didn't tell me you were leaving the country..what's up?" A few friends actually came to our front door to make sure we were ok. And many of you phoned or emailed us to let us know that our account had been hacked. Thank you all for your concern.
